The New Orleans Video Access Center (NOVAC), along with its partners in the City of New Orleans and the Louisiana Film Entertainment Association is pleased to announce its next training program: OSHA 10 Safety Certification Workshop, a two-day course scheduled August 2nd and 3rd at Musician’s Hall 2401 Esplanade Ave., designed to teach the basic safety protocol required by law to ensure the safety of every crew member on set. “We’re happy to be providing essential training for Louisiana’s above the line and below the line film crews,” says Darcy McKinnon, Executive Director of NOVAC. “Given recent high-profile onset injuries and death on out-of-state film sets, we want Louisiana to be at the forefront of film production safety.”
